Our Product Jellies are made from naturally harvested authentic Manitoulin Island fruit and herbs.Our Garden GOLDEN BASIL JELLY begins with a base of fresh Genovese Basil, the basil to which we are most accustomed. It's the "pesto" basil and most likely the one you use in sauces and salads. Our Garden RUBY BASIL JELLY is created from two varieties of purple leafed basil with just a hint of... well, we're not telling. The distinctive colour is all natural and the flavour is full-bodied because we use only fresh herbs from our own garden. Our Garden GARNET BASIL JELLY, our newest addition to the basil family is created from Thai basil and has a hint of natural anise spice that makes it a great accompaniment to Indian or Asian cooking. The name comes from the colour of the stock that resembles the beautiful garnet gemstone. Perfect on a party tray with crackers and cheeses, as a glaze on pork, chicken, lamb or fish and great as a sandwich spread - even on toast. The Garnet Basil Jelly is just right with Indian or Asian cuisine, the Ruby Basil Jelly makes a great mix as a substitute for sugar in cranberry sauce and the Golden Basil Jelly makes an ideal spread over nut butter or pate.
